Army of Lovers Alexander Bard visited Moscow
Ex-frontman of Army of Lovers
Alexander Bard spent three days in Moscow. He came to Russia at
Russian Fashion Week with his new band Bodies Without Organs to give
a concert and take part in defile.
At first day Alexander had a
performance in one of the Moscow clubs sheduled. Just before the
concert a mobile phone with a lot of changeable panels of different
colours ( their design was created by Russian modellers ) was
presented to the singer. It turned out that Alexander adores
different accessoires and nice trinkets ):"My apartment is full of
needless things, but I can't get rid of them. And a mobile phone is
a very useful present."
The second day Alexander has spent
walking around Moscow. It's not the first time the musician visits
the capital, but every time he spends a lot of time walking around
the city. Bard was so fascinated by the walk, that he had no time
left to see the costumes he would wear on the podium the next day. "I
like surprises, - confessed Alexander. - This time I made a surprise
myself. Russian Fashion Week organisers suggested me choosing a
designer whose clothes I would present. And I shifted off the
responsibility to my Moscow friends. I told them:" Choose the
collection that would suit me most."
Bard's friends chose the clothes
of two Russian brands - Sudaryanto and Frol Romanoff. At the
demonstration of the latter Bard went out on podium in shorts and a
T-shirt. A designer's costume was supplemented by musician's own
shoes and knee-length socks.Alexander told that golfsare his
favourite part of clothes. "I have enormous collection - more than
300 and all with different design. Maybe it's due to such hobbies
people think that I'm a freak. Though I'd prefer to be called a
philosopher by life."
Alexander Bard took part in two
demonstrations at Russsian Fashion Week. At first the public could
see the singer in T-shirt and shorts from Frol Romanoff and then in
an unusual shirt and wide trousers from Sudaryanto.
In everyday life Alexander looks as
if he is going to come on podium, a mobile phone with a collection
of exclusive changeable panels was presented to him.
